Donna Katz brought her multi-faceted practice to Opus Advisory Group in late 2007. Her industry knowledge and experience help her to plan comprehensive and insightful insurance strategies for individuals, businesses and business owners.

Donna’s considerable experience in personal financial consulting blends well with Opus Advisory Group’s private client services to create innovative strategies that enhance financial security and help to maximize wealth. In addition to personal financial consulting, Donna has also built a robust corporate benefits practice that includes plan design, rate negotiation, renewal actions and communications. Donna’s clients renew through her each year due to the superior service, time and care she takes to understand her client’s business and business drivers.

Donna has spent her career in financial services, beginning at American Express, then accepting a management role at UNUM, and eventually establishing her own practice in 1990.

She received a BS from Boston University School of Management with a concentration in Marketing & Finance, and holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Fordham University Graduate School of Business Administration. Additionally, she received her Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation from The American College. Donna is also a mentor for the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship which helps young people from low-income communities build skills and unlock their entrepreneurial creativity.
