Anthony DeStefano has been part of the OPUS Advisory Group since its inception in 2002. As a Managing Partner, Anthony’s primary goal is to restore balance, simplicity and confidence to a financial world that is often wrought with redundancy, confusion and inefficiency. Working with upper-level executives, primarily in hedge funds and investment banking, as well as young families seeking to define their long-term financial goals, Anthony and his team help to coordinate and integrate their client’s financial decisions and products into a productive, organized and efficient system.
A professional in the financial services industry since 1989, Anthony spent six years as a partner in the Westchester Advisory Group prior to his affiliation with OPUS. He is a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), who participates in multiple symposia and related courses each year, and is a member of the Northeast Economic Forum, an industry “mastermind group” focused on the design, documentation and dissemination of industry best practices. Anthony is also an active participant in The Strategic Coach ProgramTM, an ongoing series of intensive workshops and private study designed to help business people better focus their skills and optimize their time.
Anthony’s professional credentials and affiliations include his membership in Top of the Table®, an elite organization of the Million Dollar Round Table® that is made up of the top one tenth of one percent of financial advisors worldwide. He is also part of the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America’s Life President’s Council and their ELITE Producer’s Group. In 2006 he was selected as one of the Westchester Business Council’s “Rising Stars: 40 Under 40”, and more recently has been awarded the 2009 Five Star Wealth Manager “Best in Client Satisfaction in the Westchester Area” award for exceptional client satisfaction as indicated by other consumers and industry peers. This distinction is limited to less than seven percent of all professionals within the Westchester area.
Anthony also applies his rigorous work-ethic to several community and charitable groups and organizations. Chief among these is the Opus Foundation, which he has managed since its inception. In the past four years, the Opus Foundation has donated more than $350,000 to local and national children’s charities.
